Queen Olives - the company
Queen Olives S.L. (QO) is a sister company to Aceitunas Montegil S.L. and has been set up in order to take advantage of the newest technologies in the packaging industry. Aceitunas Montegil is a well established firm in the olive processing industry, located in Morón de La Frontera (Sevilla) in the South of Spain.
QO is part-owned by other companies who provide it with additional financial strength, know-how and the ultimate technology making it a state-of-the-art food company; pioneer in the use of thermo-sealed PET packaging for preserved vegetable foods.
Although QO started as an olive packaging business, soon afterwards it incorporated other vegetable foods into its port-folio of products. We are currently the only company to package lemon slices –an ideal product for the food service industry - and the only one to provide olives and gazpacho packaged in thermo-sealed PET containers. This is a proprietary design packaging –in house developed-, and exclusive to QO, that prevents content leakage, occurring all too often in packaging other than glass.
